Fall Foliage Photos

I have taken many photos of fall trees this year, and you can see a smattering of them here. The season has had particularly deep blue skies and even though in drought conditions,we have enjoyed some good color.

These photos have not been enhanced; the colors have been that vivid. Some of these are iPhone photos, not even taken with my good camera, since they were done just out and about in daily life.

I particularly like how light plays off these leaves, either early or late in the day. It can have such a stained glass effect, and is a dream for a pointillist like me.
