One of the benefits of having our younger daughter work from home is we get some games of bananagrams in. Very different than playing in large groups like at camp or the plein air retreat (which is also fun in a different way), with only two people we get more letters and can actually make some good words. Our house rules are that you can’t go out with a two letter word, and we challenge ourselves to have as few three letter words as possible, opting for more interesting words instead.
You can see our outcomes in the photos in this post. Some of our best words were: pixelating, equivocating, aeration, noxious, pinnacle, juggernaut, forlornly, ogress, purloined, rhizome, squirrelly, torque, woad, randomize, and pharmaceutical.
We play with this double set and recommend this game for a companionably engaging good time. This also would be a great gift for someone who enjoys word play.
