God Knows What You Need
God loves you
like a good parent,
knows what you need,
and will make sure
you get it–
full to overflowing
exactly what
will make you
happy, fulfilled,
and challenged enough
not to be bored.
God puts you
with supportive,
intelligent, kind,
and fun people,
who want only
the best for you,
who understand
you are valuable
and capable,
and a blessing
to be grateful for.
God connects you with
and makes possible
the right place,
environment, employment,
home, and community,
which will nourish
and sustain you–
a spot that you can
gainfully contribute to,
that will excite you
and will cause you to thrive.
God is perceptive and generous,
and completely able
to make things happen
in a manner that benefits
everyone in all sorts of
unfathomable ways,
beyond what you can imagine.
God is a joiner, like a carpenter
splicing together mitered corners,
with flush, beautiful transitions,
meeting together just right.
God is with
your mouth and theirs.
God either makes our hopes align,
or is protectively clear
when they do not.
God will not
allow you to misstep,
but smoothly paves the way
to what will help you the most.
God governs
the combination of ideas
as well as every
best course of action.
Your needs are met
with alacrity,
with infinite resources,
with supreme care,
and watchful devotion.
God pays attention
to your deepest desires
as well as your most
cherished preferences.
God knows what you need
with an incomprehensible
exactness that can arrange
the planets in order
so the precisely
most advantageous
thing for you
can work out.
You are able to
know and do God’s will
and nothing can mitigate
your ability and power
to do well.
Others have the same
perfect God
propelling them.
Together, you will
know clearly the next
best step forward.
Like in a dance
or a conversation,
both sides
listening and responding,
appreciation
of possibilities expand.
God’s smile widens,
exhilarated to see you
fearlessly accepting
what you most deserve
and what you’ll be
most grateful to receive.
Thanks be to God,
the expert coordinator
of our universe!
