“Oneness is like sticking a piece of metal to a magnet. The steel piece temporarily acts like a magnet. We can say that it has a north pole and a south pole, just like the other magnets. It now possesses all the qualities of the magnet but on its own has none of those powers. You can pick up other metal objects with the piece of metal, so long as it is attached to the metal. the power of the magnet is not in the piece of metal but is expressed through the piece of metal.
“Doesn’t this explain this statement of Christ Jesus? ‘…I say unto you, The Son can do nothing iof himself, but what he seeth the Father do: for what things soever he doeth, these also doeth the Son likewise. (John 5:17-19) and in John 15:4-5 ‘Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except you abide in me. I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.'”
