I am happy to have two large paintings juried into this show at the Lyme Art Association. I delivered the paintings on the way to Boston at the beginning of June, and missed the show’s opening while I was in Maine for our Plein Air Retreat. I was able to get over to Lyme this past weekend to see the show. If you want to see it as well, the show is up until July 17th.
When you walk in, my large monoprint collage is centered on the back wall, three rooms away, and you can see it from the front door, the minute you walk in, so that was fun. Also, all the demos done there are situated right in front of that piece of mine, with the audience facing it, so that is fun too. My other piece was not placed as well, huddled together with many other pieces as you can see below.
In this post, are my favorites from the show. The last one (not a favorite) got first place for non-representational work. It is always interesting to see what gets chosen, since I rarely seem to agree.
