Last week, I headed to Maine for my annual Plein Air Painting Retreat with the Pastel Society of Maine. I love this group of people, and it is fun to get to paint with them in beautiful places. The first place we went to was the Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens, which I painted two paintings of that I will post later this week. Meanwhile, I thought you might like to see my flower photos from there, as the place was lovely and in bloom. If you visit Maine, put this remarkable place on your itinerary.

Loved this vibrant collection of colourful blooms in Maine as they sweep across the globe and the seasons progress toward the harvest time to come.
