Some of you have found them useful, so I occasionally post them here. If you zoom in on my handwriting, I trust you can see in the photos below what I think about spiritually, and what I pray with during my weeks.
Sometimes I quote directly in these notes, but more often, I jot phrases or put things in my own words. Most of the time I remove gendered terms for God.
Lately, I’ve been writing the action items I need to do in the right hand column, with everything else on the left hand side. I am really loving paying attention to this distinction, as well as focusing on implementing those injunctions. It is making a difference in me being able to make these lessons practical and transformative. I highly recommend it!
And I encourage you to do your own Bible study. I find the process of journaling while I study really helpful for making it my own. Plus it makes it more fun.
