At first, I thought I’d write this idea as a poem, but then I knew I would paint it.
Nature is full of diversity, equity, and inclusion. I can think of many examples but water/snow/& air seemed an obvious one. When we go against diversity, equity and inclusion, we go against nature– the highest design of the universe. What seems different is just contrasting phases, arrangements, or varieties of the same basic elements.
This painting is large (20″x28″) and is done in pastel over acrylic.

Can we just embrace nature already, instead of fight against it out of human insecurity or hubris?

Dear Polly,
You couldn’t have done a better job in bringing this idea about so clearly. It’s stunningly apparent, nature is infinitely diverse, and we are a part of nature’s diversity.
Very, very inspiring! Thank you!
