Hirshhorn Museum on Modern Art

Below, check out the photos of my favorites from the Hirshhorn National Museum of Modern Art.

Most of these works I knew, but some were new to me. It was nice to see old friends for the first time and make the acquaintances of other artists I hope to learn about further.

Only the permanent collection (one of two floors) was open when we were there. The building is built on the round and is a perfect place for viewing art. I would have loved to see more of it!

I work to amplify good wherever I find it. I love color, texture, beauty, great ideas, nature, metaphor, deliciousness, genuine spirituality, and exploring new territory. I encourage authenticity, nurture creativity, champion sustainability, promote peace, and hope to foster a new renaissance where we all are free to be our most fulfilled, multifaceted, and terrific selves. Thanks, Polly!
I’d be interested in the last names of the artists whose works you show here (if easy!)

In March my son’s family and I went to SanFran MOMA to see “Infinite Love” — Yayoi Kusama. Wonderful. Fun to see the pumpkin sculpture outside! Wonderful photos of the art as always.
