Multitasking (New Artist-in-Residency Abstract Conceptualism Painting)
Multitasking, painting by Polly Castor

Multitasking (mixed media) by Polly Castor

This is the first painting I finished during my artist-in-residency at Creative Arts Camp and I’m delighted to report that it has already SOLD.

It is large, 30″x40″ and done in mixed media– mostly acrylic, with a little charcoal, India ink, and collage. It depicts an abstract representation of the concept of multitasking.

You can obtain prints and merchandise of this image here.

See the finished painting above. Below, instead of the usual details, I’ve taken process photos so you can see the piece evolve.

I work to amplify good wherever I find it. I love color, texture, beauty, great ideas, nature, metaphor, deliciousness, genuine spirituality, and exploring new territory. I encourage authenticity, nurture creativity, champion sustainability, promote peace, and hope to foster a new renaissance where we all are free to be our most fulfilled, multifaceted, and terrific selves.
