Bible Study Journal Pages

I have occasionally posted my one page per week notes on Bible Lesson topics in the past, and some of you have found them useful. Here is the next installment since the last post last November (minus one week where I wrote some private stuff).

Sometimes I quote directly, but more often, I jot phrases or put things in my own words. Most of the time I remove gendered terms for God.

I encourage you to do your own study.  I find the process of journaling while I study really helpful in making it my own. Doing so also prompts me to put it into action, and not just learn about it.

I mention this in a recent podcast I was interviewed on, which you can hear here. Those of you that heard that podcast, I’ve been writing the action items I need to do in the right hand column, and everything else on the left hand side.

If you want to learn more about the weekly Bible Lessons I do, or wish to access them for yourself, click here.

And since someone always asks, this is the journal I use.

I work to amplify good wherever I find it. I love color, texture, beauty, great ideas, nature, metaphor, deliciousness, genuine spirituality, and exploring new territory. I encourage authenticity, nurture creativity, champion sustainability, promote peace, and hope to foster a new renaissance where we all are free to be our most fulfilled, multifaceted, and terrific selves.
