Merry Christmas from our House to Yours

Merry Christmas from our House to Yours

I wish you a happy Christmas, whether you are having a hectic day surrounded by loved ones, or are having a quiet day reading fireside all by yourself. You are loved and appreciated.

Today symbolizes hope being renewed in the earth, and I think we all need that, so let’s drink it in, along with all its attendant blessings. Let there be peace on earth, and let it begin here and now, with each of us.

The five of us here are having a simple day, with a few presents, good food with some treats – fresh squeezed orange juice and apple turnovers for breakfast, lemon confections, chocolate, and caramels during present opening, and then cake after a swordfish dinner – along with some games, some reading, some phone calls, and yes, some work too. I am so grateful we are together, and harmonious, healthy, and mutually supportive.

I’m also very grateful for each one of you. I thank God that you exist. May each of you shine forth as the light of the world that you are!

I work to amplify good wherever I find it. I love color, texture, beauty, great ideas, nature, metaphor, deliciousness, genuine spirituality, and exploring new territory. I encourage authenticity, nurture creativity, champion sustainability, promote peace, and hope to foster a new renaissance where we all are free to be our most fulfilled, multifaceted, and terrific selves. Love your message today. My husband likes to compile old videos and photos into slide shows that can be shared and watched on youtube. He put together several with different groups of family over past Christmases. Some of the old ones featuring a bunch of small children are very loud and hectic! I have always enjoyed a quiet Christmas afternoon reading a book. Now we are at the stage where there is more of that which is all good!

    Thank you, Polly!
Yours sounds lovely, we had 20 family members and a dog! It was hectic and joyous! Our eight grandchildren have so much fun together.
The house seems quiet now everyone has gone home. Till next time. X
