The people at camp are terrific and the culture of unconditional love and support we’ve created there is amazingly palpable. Add to that creative classes and a gorgeous location! Wow.
Here are my portrait photos from camp this year, posted in chronological order throughout our week. I apologize that I didn’t do as well getting everyone as I have in the past, pre-occupied as I was with my video project. Of particular oversight was not photographing our wonderful director, so I stole a photo of her from last year to put last below. I have more photos of our wonderful photography/video teacher than anyone; Molly was so great and worked so hard on our behalf that she deserves special mention.
There were about 50 of us; 40 were returning folks, with 10 people there for the first time, who promptly got enfolded in the whirl of our love. This special time feels like a family reunion of the very best kind, with wonderful new folks to get to know each year as well. You know they feel the vibe too, for they blossom and thrive, and joyously join the rotating ranks of returning folks.
I’m looking forward to teaching painted paper collage here next year! I wonder who will be in my class? I love them already.
