The Five Plein Air Landscapes I Painted at the Retreat

The Five Plein Air Landscapes I Painted at the Retreat
my small plein air palette

Here are the five small paintings I painted on our three day plein air retreat in Maine:

Northport Linden (12″x18″) was painted in the shade of one of the most massive linden trees I have ever seen.

Happy Little Tugs (12″x12″) was painted on the docks in Belfast, Maine.

I loved the Elm in the Camden Library Gardens (9″x12″), its twisting, so artfully nurtured, with almost Asian in influence.

In Early Morning Light on South Branch Pond (9″x12″), I love how the first light glittered peach on the water.

I work to amplify good wherever I find it. I love color, texture, beauty, great ideas, nature, metaphor, deliciousness, genuine spirituality, and exploring new territory. I encourage authenticity, nurture creativity, champion sustainability, promote peace, and hope to foster a new renaissance where we all are free to be our most fulfilled, multifaceted, and terrific selves.
