Working Out Problems
Numbers are invisible –
merely useful
mentally generated
quantifiers or symbols–
but we’re naturally sure
of their existence
and availability.
Why are we not
as certain of God
who is just as
invisible and conceptual,
while also a prevailing,
helpful presence?
When we do
an algebra problem,
we don’t take it personally
and try to track down
how the problem got there.
We can work out
our human problems
precisely
as we would in math
with the neutral facts
that powerfully apply to it.
In both cases,
the solution
is already there,
we just need to
utilize the relevant rules
to decode, unravel,
and systematically
reveal it.
If you know how,
it can be fun.
But the laws
can be learned,
and they don’t change.
It’s not such a puzzle
after all.
And that rectifying,
resolving Principle,
pure Truth,
which overcomes
every error
in both arithmetic
and in life
is actually God itself–
the exultant way to answer
every human need,
equation, or question.

Ahhhh…the impersonal Laws of Truth, like the Law of Gravity, ever-operating as it does,
Whether human belief seems to obscure, block, be-clueless as to Its workings….
How great to be able to reduce human belief by understanding the Facts!Patiently (most of the time!) chipping away at illusions,
and grateful for your encouragements, Polly!Sue
