Surrender (Poem by Rumi)

Surrender poem by Rumi

Very little grows on jagged rock.

Be ground. Be crumbled.
So wildflowers will come up
where you are.

You have been stoney for too many years.
Try something different.
Surrender.

I work to amplify good wherever I find it. I love color, texture, beauty, great ideas, nature, metaphor, deliciousness, genuine spirituality, and exploring new territory. I love this poem.
You might see it’s influence in the James Keelaghan song Benefits of Surrender. This idea of softening and yielding to beauty, love, and life conveys a sense of inevitable good and being our purpose.

Struggling to Stand Firm is getting a bit….
    too….
    difficult.

    Must bend with the Wind.
