I’m pleased to have been juried into the Renaissance in Pastel Show, a prestigious national show held each year in Connecticut. The show opened on Friday night with a lovely reception, and it was good to see people I haven’t seen in a while.
My painting in the show is shown above. It is titled Spring at New Pond Farm and was done in plein air.
My favorite painting in the show by far is the first one below, so I took a couple close up details of it below. I thought it should have gotten best of show, but go figure, the last painting shown below was the one that got that honor. I’ve labeled the artists I know…
