God and I Thrive (A New Short Poem by Polly Castor)

God and I Thrive, poem by Polly Castor

God and I Thrive

God and I thrive
in a symbiotic relationship,
like plovers and crocodiles,
clownfish and anemone,
aphids and ants,
woolly bats and pitcher plants,
mutually dependent,
and reciprocally blest,
each essential for the other,
inextricably interwoven
in a life unimaginable alone.
