This is what I’ve been painting recently in my artist’s journal. I’ve been doing these about one a day; I start a new one each day and finish a former one each day. This rhythm is working for me lately, and we’ll see if I keep it up when I get going again on larger, serious work. These small pieces (9″x12″ or 12″x12″) have felt like the warm ups for what is coming next.
