I just got back from a lovely three and a half days in Maine for a wonderful plein air retreat. The first evening I was there, between dinner and dessert, we went down to the beach for the lovely light at the golden hour. These are the reference photos I took of this beautiful spot in great light.
Tomorrow I’ll post more photos of the retreat itself, and the day after, the paintings we did. Meanwhile, enjoy this nature moment that thoroughly fed my soul.
And for those of you new here, no I do not use filters or Photoshop, and these were all taken with my iPhone. The wonder of these images is natural light, texture, color, and form.
