Circulation of Ideas poem, by Polly Castor

Circulation of Ideas

Like the water cycle,
evaporating, condensing,
raining, flowing, vaporizing
repeatedly providing,
or a library
check out and return system,
with reading and
gleaning in between,
and no loss,
only weightless gain.
We give and receive,
receive and give,
with worthiness
volleying about
between those that work
and those that are grateful,
joy and spontaneity,
exchanging benefits
with no burden attached.
A ceaseless outpouring
with its corresponding,
infinite influx
of spiritual good.
There is a Principle
behind all this–
as we give
we will receive,
as we receive
we are able to give
both needed and
equally advantageous.
Inexhaustible bounty
equitably accessible
this rotating of virtue,
this circulation of ideas,
is a splendid divine economy
of liquid, recycled currency,
of abundance, rising, brimming
and spilling over in a gushing,
endlessly shiny encircling ring
of supply meeting demand
and demand meeting supply.

I work to amplify good wherever I find it. I love color, texture, beauty, great ideas, nature, metaphor, deliciousness, genuine spirituality, and exploring new territory. I encourage authenticity, nurture creativity, champion sustainability, promote peace, and hope to foster a new renaissance where we all are free to be our most fulfilled, multifaceted, and terrific selves. Two of your photos I truly admire! They are in motion…

Beautiful poem! How wonderful and liberating it is that giving and receiving are the same in God’s reality!
