Two New Abstract Paintings About Immortality

Two New Abstract Paintings About Immortality
Passing On painting by Polly Castor

Passing On (acrylic) by Polly Castor

I just finished two new paintings in my immortality series.

Ironically, simultaneously, without conferring, nor with any obvious outside reason to both be thinking about this, my husband was creating an episode on his podcast about immortality as well. You can hear that here.

Above you can see Passing On, which is done in acrylic on stretched canvas and is 20″x24″.”  The original is available for purchase here. You can also obtain prints or merchandise of this image here.

Pre-existence, seen below, is a very layered, textural oil painting about the spiritual, pre-existent place before what is perceived as conception or birth. It was done on stretched canvas and is 18″x24.”  You can buy the original here, although with all this thick oil paint, it will be months before it is dry enough for shipping! Prints and merchandise of it can be purchased here.

Immortality is not far off, only after we die or before we are born. It is right here and now!

I work to amplify good wherever I find it. I love color, texture, beauty, great ideas, nature, metaphor, deliciousness, genuine spirituality, and exploring new territory. I encourage authenticity, nurture creativity, champion sustainability, promote peace, and hope to foster a new renaissance where we all are free to be our most fulfilled, multifaceted, and terrific selves.
