The day started with fog and ended with sun, grilled veggies, and singing. In between I painted to very happy abstract expressionistic paintings. Both are done in pastel and are 22″x30.”

I tried a new technique of painting pastels into saturated, wet paper, and I’m in love with the process. It is so spontaneous and immediate, and perfect for abstract expressionism.
