Day 35: Miscellaneous Trip Photos

Day 35: Miscellaneous Trip Photos

As we have our second to last driving day today, I thought it would be a good time to post some of my miscellaneous photos that did not find their way into other posts.

Castor means beaver in French, so it was fun for me to have the symbol of the beaver the one chosen for the Canadian National Parks. We saw them everywhere.

And put good light on boats, and the photographer in me can’t resist. A kite? A rope on the dock? An ant in a lily? Driftwood that doubles as a chair? That stray interesting cloud? Lichen on a tree or painting by the sea? Eroded roots, new pinecones, footprints on the sand? Our campfire? Our daughter sleeping? Those colossal Newfoundland dandelions in all their fuzzy glory? Nothing was too small or mundane to enjoy, and you don’t have to travel to realize that.

I work to amplify good wherever I find it. I love color, texture, beauty, great ideas, nature, metaphor, deliciousness, genuine spirituality, and exploring new territory. I encourage authenticity, nurture creativity, champion sustainability, promote peace, and hope to foster a new renaissance where we all are free to be our most fulfilled, multifaceted, and terrific selves.
