A Field of Daffodils

Last Tuesday afternoon the weather was glorious with rain slated for much of the rest of week. My husband and I left our schedules behind and ran off to frolic in this field of daffodils for a while. It restored our souls.

This field is about a ten minute drive from our house. It is privately owned and lovingly planted, with a sign out front welcoming the public to freely enter and enjoy. How grateful we were for this generosity of spirit!

I had seen this field from the car in a former year, but never played in it, and James had never even seen it. I had always wanted to return to take some time, and I think it is important to make space in our lives to do such things. I love that last photo of my husband exulting in the glory of it all.

Rejoice too! Spring is here! Beauty surrounds if you’ll only step out and see it!

I work to amplify good wherever I find it. I love color, texture, beauty, great ideas, nature, metaphor, deliciousness, genuine spirituality, and exploring new territory. I encourage authenticity, nurture creativity, champion sustainability, promote peace, and hope to foster a new renaissance where we all are free to be our most fulfilled, multifaceted, and terrific selves.
