Thinking About My Dad

Thinking About My Dad

I obviously think about my Dad and all of his stellar qualities often, but today I thought I’d share two links that I reviewed myself today in honor of Father’s Day:

Poem I wrote about my Dad a week after his passing

My newspaper article about my (doctor) Dad’s response to Christian Science.

(The above article was also reprinted here in the Christian Science Sentinel with the title Healing: Choosing an Approach)

I am so grateful for this man and for all the good he did and was!

Happy Father’s Day to all you Dads out there!

I work to amplify good wherever I find it. I love color, texture, beauty, great ideas, nature, metaphor, deliciousness, genuine spirituality, and exploring new territory. I encourage authenticity, nurture creativity, champion sustainability, promote peace, and hope to foster a new renaissance where we all are free to be our most fulfilled, multifaceted, and terrific selves. Polly, This post is so heartwarming. I absolutely adore the poem you wrote about your father. What a gift he gave you in such beautiful character development. I never forgot what you wrote about your mother when she passed on either. I’ve never read so many beautiful things about anyone when I read that and this is also true about your dad. What an incredible upbringing and home life you have. I find it very inspiring and I work to claim these things for myself and others. What a blessing you are! Thank you dear Polly!
