I have a painting in the juried show that just opened in the Essex Art Association, and enjoyed the opening last Friday night. The show runs July 29 – August 19, 2017 if you can stop by.

Since my one woman show was still up, and I had a lot of my work there, I chose this older abstract landscape above done in oil to submit to this show. Someone at the opening commented about this painting that I “paint energy,”  and that struck me as correct.

I am getting to know most of the artists shown in this post and that is a pleasure! Check out their work below. I would have taken more but I struggle with the glare on the glass…
