Two New Plein Air Landscapes in Pastel of New Pond Farm
Here are my two recent plein air paintings in pastel done at New Pond Farm. Both are new additions to my tree series.
The one above depicts the deep shade of the evergreen with the new leaves beyond in the sunken garden beside the house. The first photo below is a painting of the flowering tree beside the path between the meadows. After that see a couple pictures taken by my friend Anne of me painting the flowering tree that day. The bottom three photos are close up details of the two paintings.
Both are small –8″ x 10″– and are available for sale. Prints and merchandise with these images on them are available here and here in my gallery.
Absolutely lovely. I look forward to our outing to the NYBG.
