Last Sunday I rode the 40+ miles of the New York City 5 Borough Bike Tour in the cold rain with 35,000 other people from 50 States and 32 countries. I completed it without walking my bike once– even up the steep climbs on the bridges– so although I was very chilled and wet, I was feeling pretty good about it!
Afterwards we ate Italian food on Arthur Avenue in the Bronx, and I devoured 3/4 of the eggplant parmesan shown below. And once home, a hot shower never felt so good!
