Here we are in the middle of winter, so I’ll show a pastel I did plein air last fall titled In the Presence of Swans. It is 11″ x 14″ and I like it better now than when I did it. It is shown above.

Below, is a small pastel I painted yesterday of a memory I have after bushwalking through an overgrown woods in the spring to find the water. It is 8″ x 10″ and is titled Hidden Water. I am looking forward to the spring when I can paint outside again!
