A Lovely Camp Day

Lovely camp day

The weather is stellar for this time of year in Maine. For the first time in the ten years I’ve been coming the water was both warm enough and calm enough for me to swim to Cherry Island and back (1/2 mile). I have never done this before, and it was delightful. But it is farther away than it looks in the photos!

Additionally, the sunset was the loveliest warm glow, complete with a sliver of a new moon. We had a very nice church service, and I had some terrific conversations today as well…
