Along the King’s River in King’s Canyon

Kings River Photos

We enjoyed meandering along the King’s River in King’s Canyon. The rushing sound of this water is one of the audio snap shots I will bring with me as a treasure from this trip. The color of the water was constantly changing, sometimes copper, sometimes emerald green, olive green or lime green, occasionally sea foam or turquoise. What a delight it was to spend some time here. It was a holy experience; I feel like my soul has been cleansed.

Polly such extraordinary photos of such beauty. I’m really fascinated by the unusual intensity of the colors your camera produces. There is such a strong leaning to the blues …but in every color too! Does your Canon have a setting that it’s on that hightens the intensity hues ? ( Not just of these superb images, but of everything I’ve seen of your photography over the years!) I look forward to all your blogs…always fascinating. Enjoy this awesome experience you are having! Canon is known for brighter colors especially the blues in general. I think it capture accurate color well.
