Our son surprised his sister by coming unexpectedly to her graduation. We were in on this surprise and helped facilitate it, but it was priceless to see his sister’s delight on his arrival.

We hadn’t seen our son since he returned to school last January. He stayed on the Swarthmore campus this summer to work for a few professors so has not come home. He is writing sound ordinance for the town of Swarthmore, writing curriculum for a college course on MATLAB (an engineering computer program he knows), and mostly doing research for a Political Science professor on international trade agreements. We had a chance for a good chat and it was great to see him!
