February Abstract Ice Photos from Huntington

 Abstract Ice Photos

I haven’t Hiked as much as I would have liked this month at Huntington, but when I did, ice was truly the feature worth focusing on. Each of these photos is a reference photo for an abstract composition. Mother nature is fascinating, especially in her most temporal detail. All this was there for the seeing, even if no one ever looked at it!

    Hi Polly,
These are so beautiful! I’m a watercolorist and wondered if I could use some of these images for paintings.

I always feel like one’s own photos make the best paintings. This should inspire you to take some of your own. I’m hoping to paint from some of these!
