New Poem by me: Synergy

New Poem by me: Synergy

synergy poetry

Like an individual water molecule by itself has no wetness
until jostling with others in a slippery tumble
it forms and breaks lattices…

Like individual atoms by themselves have no color
until they are arranged in molecules
to absorb some light waves while transmitting others…

Like a solitary brain cell has no thought
until millions of neurons carry electromagnetic impulses
throughout organized networks…

The sum is greater than the parts.

The whole is what matters:
the substance of a thought, color, wetness or whatever
is an unfragmented non-material idea
governed by growth and unfoldment, not accretion.

Individuals transcend themselves
as complete microcosms of something much fuller
as discrete constituents are mirrored indefinitely
and facets reverberate and gleam in every dimension
deeply purposeful, coordinated and choreographed
beyond, above, throughout
the comprehension
of any atom, molecule, cell or individual.

Only the Mind of the Creator gets it all,
And that Mind is the whole itself: All.

Synthesizing the myriad components
for the ultimate absolute extreme,
that extra oomph of cosmic infinity rejoices
in the wonder and brilliance of every essential detail.
