Movie Review: Doubt

doubt Movie Review

I give this movie 2 stars, although Meryl Steep did a great job and deserved her academy award nomination for best actress.

Based on a Pulitzer prize winning play, it is about a priest accused of sexually abusing a child in Streep’s Catholic school. It is not a topic with which to create a feel-good movie.

But fortunately, neither was it harsh.  The pace of the movie was slow enough to generate doubt in everyone, making the viewer realize that none of us are exempt from doubt in its most subtle forms. See www.doubt-themovie.com

I work to amplify good wherever I find it. I love color, texture, beauty, great ideas, nature, metaphor, deliciousness, genuine spirituality, and exploring new territory. I encourage authenticity, nurture creativity, champion sustainability, promote peace, and hope to foster a new renaissance where we all are free to be our most fulfilled, multifaceted, and terrific selves.
