We’ve had a lot of wind and rain around here lately. I’ve often seen chestnuts on the ground in the fall, but never in still in their pods.I found them fascinating. I love the textures; the contrast between the silky smooth nut inside and the prickly protective exterior is amazing. Enjoy these photos below.
