This movie is about a church gospel choir from Georgia making it to the finals competition in L.A. It stars Dolly Parton and Queen Latifah, who are an unlikely pair, but the whole choir itself is a hodgepodge as they so often are.  Included in the film are church politics, marital issues, teenage love, and disabilities overcome.  All that was just a vehicle for the choir music, which was especially enjoyable; I bet this is one great soundtrack!  The music pulled this three star movie into the four star range.  See it if you are into gospel music!
