Book Review: My Cooking Class Series

My Cooking Class Series

This series of cookbooks is wonderful.  I love the saturated color on every page, and the bird’s eye view photography of the ingredients as well as each and every step.  If you are looking for a cookbook for someone who resonates with pictures more than text, this is your solution.

My library had the Vegetable one (my Beet and Goat Cheese Salad came from it) and when I returned it I asked them to get the whole series!  My underfunded but industrious librarian scoured the state for the rest of the set for me, and I have all of them out right now through inter-library loan. I’ll be pouring over these this holiday season, using my family as guinea pigs for new concoctions and delicacies of all kinds!

I give this series a hearty five stars!  See my photos below, because often a picture is worth 1000 words…

I work to amplify good wherever I find it. I love color, texture, beauty, great ideas, nature, metaphor, deliciousness, genuine spirituality, and exploring new territory. I encourage authenticity, nurture creativity, champion sustainability, promote peace, and hope to foster a new renaissance where we all are free to be our most fulfilled, multifaceted, and terrific selves.
