Autumn Harvest 2016

Autumn Harvest 2016

autumn harvest photos

Here are photos of some of the vegetables we’ve harvested since these three posts (here, here, and here) earlier this fall. It has been quite a haul, with the Brussels sprouts still to come, and the amazing, enormous butternut squashes to get their own post closer to Thanksgiving.

It takes a lot of time to process, cook and freeze all this food, but I am very grateful for it all.

The tomatoes kept coming and coming! Don’t you love that shot above? And James made six dozen jars of chow chow with green tomatoes brought in before our first freeze. And the last photo below shows some of our roasted tomatoes, of which we have many pounds worth in our freezer, waiting to smile on us anytime…

I work to amplify good wherever I find it. I love color, texture, beauty, great ideas, nature, metaphor, deliciousness, genuine spirituality, and exploring new territory. I encourage authenticity, nurture creativity, champion sustainability, promote peace, and hope to foster a new renaissance where we all are free to be our most fulfilled, multifaceted, and terrific selves.
