Okay, Austen lovers, I give this movie a two star rating. Most two star movies I don’t even bother blogging about, but this is Austin we are talking about, so before you spend your money, read this review, and wait for it instead on instant streaming on a night you are really, really, really bored.

This is a silly spoof, an inane farce, a foolish satire, and fully ridiculous in every way. Yes, there were funny moments, but more of them were just awkwardly lame. We get the point: this Austin mania has gone way too far.

And anyway, are the best men purely fictional?
