I’ve been painting in the garden lately in oil.  I’ve got several on the go, but this is the first one finished.

Sometimes sunbeams are misty white catching particles in the air, but this one was warm, almost throbbing with life force, like a lazar beam, intent on penetrating dense foliage. Everything around it seemed to thrive on it, including me.
