Here are the black and white photos I took recently in Maine, again highlighting light, refraction, shadow, texture, and composition.  One of the things I like about travel is the amplified opportunity to capture black and white photograghs, in the new sights around me. Now settling back into usual life around here, there will be fewer occasions to see these kinds of images, while more of a chance to cook, paint abstractly, write, read, and ponder. I love it all!
