Nothing like a trip to a place you’ve never been to give one new fodder for taking black and white photographs!

Here, once again, I am studying value, the range from black to white, and how it emphasizes texture, shape, light, and composition. All the color photos I took I loved, but there is something much more thoughtful and analytic about looking at an image in black and white that I find very instructive.
