We arrived on Monhegan Island via the ferry from Port Clyde, in the rain, but it didn’t dampen our spirits. There are seven of us this year; six that had been together with us in the past, and one new.  We had a lunch of crepes in the drizzle from a food truck, and examined art in the gallery. We are staying at Monhegan House again and had dinner there. We are all looking forward to several days of painting. Fortunately, the weather the rest of the week is expected to be good.
