The women above are why I went to Italy. I love to paint with them. Our party was four women artists with two husbands along as well. I’m so grateful we had this opportunity!
One of the women above knows the artist gentleman shown first below, who offered us the use of his studio in Chiusi– so we said yes, please!
You can see the gorgeous studio space we got to work in below. We stayed a few blocks away from the studio with friends of his in a home that stayed in the same family all the way from the 12th century right up until the 1960’s, with the family crests still decorating the ceilings.
And we were totally spoiled with home baked fresh croissants and other delicacies made just for us each morning.
Also, the town is charming, as you’ll see in future blog posts!
