I painted this last fall, but then unexpectedly went to Guadeloupe, so never got it posted.
Mostly oblivious, the heat continues to descend, the weather gets weirder, and there’s a darkness lurking in consciousness. (For example, January here in Connecticut has had balmy temperatures in the 60’s– definitely not “normal,” or maybe it is the new normal.)
