Small Things Like These (Book Review)

Small Things Like These book review

This small, short book is quick to read and both moving and multilayered. At only 128 pages, it packs a punch, and you’ll keep thinking about it.

I’ve been going to my book group monthly for over a decade and in all that time together, this is only the second book we’ve all agreed is wonderful.

It takes place over a couple days before Christmas, but is not a usual Christmas story. It makes you wonder what you are doing and whether you are making a difference. Why are you holding back and playing small? Who better than you to step out in faith and do what should be done? When are we going to stop looking the other way?

Get Small Things Like These for yourself, or as a stocking stuffer or gift for someone else. I give it five stars.

I work to amplify good wherever I find it. I love color, texture, beauty, great ideas, nature, metaphor, deliciousness, genuine spirituality, and exploring new territory. I encourage authenticity, nurture creativity, champion sustainability, promote peace, and hope to foster a new renaissance where we all are free to be our most fulfilled, multifaceted, and terrific selves.
