November hikes in Huntington State Park this past month took us through the last of the autumn foliage and into our first ice. Because one end of November is so different than the other, I’ve posted the photos here in consecutive order, so you can see the changes too.

I had company walking with me more than usual this month, with a house guest from Portland (fellow blog reader of yours), and then both daughters in succession, one before Thanksgiving, one after.
I love the regular input of nature soothing my psyche, as well as the color, texture, and compositional studies the seasons provide. I’m so grateful to live near this lovely place and that I make use of it so often to ramble in.
