I loved the moody but cheerful light in this glen. This work was painted alla prima in plein air. It was done in oil and is 24″x30″ in size. I did it a couple weeks ago between trips, and haven’t gotten a chance to post it here until now.

This abstract landscape was done in a burst of inspiration. It is a very textured, evocative piece. Is it moonlight, dusk, early morning, or just deep shade? Certainly, it is a place to linger and contemplate.
